  1. Great haiku – my flies, however, never wait!

  2. I leave my doors wide open: C’mon in!

  3. Love that blue and the image of the fly.

  4. very clever…both the fly and the haiku…

  5. That’s an interesting door. No wonder the fly desired to come in 😀

  6. Some people learn this from the flies…always looking for the cracks.. lovely haiku…MMT..

    🙂

  8. Hello,

You’ve used your imagination today. Thanks for sharing.

    Have a Happy Blue Monday!

  9. And I will be there with a sledge hammer! 🙂

  10. That poor door needs love and tender care. Not sure if a fly would to light on it. I appreciated your lovely card and concern. Thanks so much. I go 76 cards. Unreal!

  11. That must be a nice door to be waiting at! At my house they skip the doors and enters the open windows… But, I’ll give you a (small) comfort: Soon the summer is over and the winter returns, and then the flies will be gone… 🙂 I wish you a happy week!

  12. Am glad I’m not a fly. I would be too impatient to wait, lol!

  13. I love the look of old doors. What an interesting photo and the blue is nice and calming. Have a terrific week.

  14. wonderful door shot – and great words.

  15. I love that that door looks old. I love old things.

  16. Nice image – I like its simple lines.

  17. Sarah ~ Magnolia Surprise

That’s a great old door — no wonder the fly decided to land on it!

  18. The flies are too clever. They find a way to enter the room. A nice one.

  19. That door stands there like a bastion against that fly, nice imagery

    Much love…

  20. Those crazy flies…and once they get in you play hell getting rid of them! 😀 Great haiku!

  21. its a classic MMT ! superb !

  22. Cleverly crafted MMT, your haiku always leaves me amazed, they are so everyday yet so unique.

  23. And that would be… the moment the door opens!!! I love this! I tried to do something like this too with a screen door but couldn’t get it right!

  24. I like the sense of suspense created by this poem. And I like the picture. I get a real sense of history from it.
