  1. Beautiful, you have a such an eye matched to a gift with words.

  2. Desert meets social media addiction. Whilst Twisted Sister may not of taken it, I love it MMT 😉

  3. Great shot for SWF ~ your photography gets better and better ~ xoxo

  4. I see hairs and nails. I’m ready for a story.

  5. It is interesting to contemplate what tethers us in place… which tethers are supportive, which tether’s bind.

  6. There is a restaurant here called Spinster Sisters… I think these two twisted sisters would like to join me for a meal there… tethered posts and all…

  7. Surely these sisters are from the same root and are twins. Even in their death (I see no leaves) they are tethered. This is a beautiful photo and a beautiful thought to go with the sisters twisted together for eternity.

  8. Had to look again. Is it my vivid imagination, or is that a bird in the lower right corner, maybe even two?

  9. nature’s sisters ~ lovely haiku about ‘mindfulness’ ~ Happy Weekend ~ xoxo

  10. i imagine two spinsters sitting in the square, their long lives stretching out behind them

  11. And tethered to one another, no doubt! Are they watching the mountains in the distance, I wonder?

  12. If my sister and I were tethered there I daresay we’d look just like your photo.
    🙂

  13. so much beauty in those dried up stumps; thanks for sharing; have a nice Friday

    much love…

  14. Your twisted sisters add so much artisitic character to this desert scene.

  15. something comforting about their place in each others lives.

  16. Oh, this is lovely.. yet strong they are.. I like the picture perfect haiku…

    Do visit me here MMT…
