  1. I can see a bear! 🙂 (We have a beautiful day today but it’s going to rain again tomorrow…)

  2. amazing and beautiful textures can be seen in this rock formation! do plum trees grow in the desert?

      They do…when someone waters them!

  3. I love this image – raven sniffing the wind, seeking one ripe plum. Me, too!

  4. I would be seeking a nice juicy plum also! Lovely poem to accompany your splendid image!

  5. I wonder if you found one. It looks pretty dry.

  6. One ripe plum would be significant in that landscape. Nice photo too

  7. I’ve been there! Love it. Love that desolate path too. Wonder where it goes. Just got back from Shiprock and Bisti and Aztec Ruins. Oh, joy!

  8. So much character and attitude in this bold rock. Gorgeous.

  9. What great texture of the rock! Incredible shot and shadow! Love your haiku as well.

  10. A tale of survival..we all need that one thing to search for

Unfortunately, some never find that one thing to seek for…

  11. It is rare to find anywhere totally desolate. If a raven is there he is surviving so can you, can’t promise the plums though, but keep that thought!

  12. what a beautiful scenic shot..

  13. Red rocks and blue skies? What a perfect combo.

    Just loving it!

  14. Wow! This is a stunning photo and as always wonderful words that you share with us. Enjoy the week!

  15. I love that intense blue sky. Thanks for making Blue Monday special.

    Happy Blue Monday!

  16. Oh what natural beauty, nothing better.
