  1. This reminds me of so many visits to ancient ruins in various places around the world. I always feel the presence of the people who dwelled there – or perhaps it is their stories – unknowable – that fill the air.

  2. Looking out a window at Wupatki National Monument, I saw the same view they saw long ago. I also felt the same strong wind.

  3. Ah… but the stones do…

  4. I love mysteries — if the land could only speak.

  5. so sad, don’t we all want something to remain of us when we’re gone?

  6. Stones become alive – Love this. Some of my most spiritual moments occurred in spots just like this!

  7. you have such sensitivity to the world around you; in this brief moment you had me on a ancient trail.
