  1. Lovely-the cottonwoods do look contented. What a lovely thought, gathering shadows……

  2. The cottonwoods are content until struck by lightning or strong wind… then they offer themselves up for firewood.
    Still cleaning up from the initial over a year ago.

    I am sure the bats love the cottonwood shadows 🙂

      Couldn’t work the bats into this one. Unless, of course, you mean baseball bats after the lightning strike! 😉
