walking autumn roads—
compact clumps of blooming gorse
heavy with cold rain
~~ ~~ ~~
walking autumn roads
how jubilant the pilgrim
keeping time with crows
~~ ~~ ~~
walking autumn roads
rife with neglected potholes
farmer homeward bound
