Is this the blossom
forgotten when I left home
forty years ago?

  1. Lovely and mystifying…a nice intro to an interesting story.

  2. The first line grabbed me, is this the blossom

  3. Very nostalgic … a sweet vision.

  4. When you talk about leaving home forty years it is a strange feeling. A lot has happened, the person has evolved and the person starting out ( a pure white blossom) is unrecognisably a stranger. Excellently thought provoking !

Thank you. Most of the time I write un- or subconsciously, so I’m never quite sure what’s going on or what other will read into it.

  5. This made me think back, then see the present, then read the poem again.
