howling wind—

the bamboo flute

even catfish bones
quiver at the sound

  1. what a stunning photo to go with your perfect words!

  2. Catfish in the desert? Seems odd…and the skeleton is slender enough to flap in the howling winds. It must be the circle of life Simba…

  3. Oh….the autumn note within the bamboo flute. So evocative, I can almost hear it. Wonderful!

  4. Eerie and strangely beautiful. Lovely mellow light.

  5. interesting, but I’m confused. Is there a body of water nearby?

Scaly bones and a warm sun glow are not something you expect to see together. Nice.

  7. Absolutely dramatic when sunset was the backdrop of it all.

    Happy SSS.

South Africa is far from wherever we are but if there is a will, there is a way and I got it here.
