  1. tangled with light and shadow- why does this speak to me so?? (such a metaphor of my life) thank you for sharing your light with such a fierce loyalty; you make everything beautiful.

  2. I feel that if I stepped through this window… I would be in another world. I join the birds in singing this beauty!

  3. As they should, MMT 🙂

  4. The sight and sound mind image this haiku and photo brings are more lovely to me than any beach!

  5. What a beautiful haiku and image (word and photo)… So often in the wilderness of our lives our minds/hearts become confused shadow and light entangled, wrestling when both have so much to teach and we get lost in the needless fray until birdsong or something else in the natural world invites us back to what is true, here, now.

  6. Your words full of birdsong and meadow capture some of Arizona’s magic.

  7. nice spot and nice shot 🙂

  8. Yep. Just makes me want to sit down & breathe.

  9. what a contrast- the gnarliness of the trees with the delicate beauty of the flowers!

  10. Ah ~ so true ~ very creative haiku ~

    Happy Weekend to you,
    artmusedog and carol

  11. “birdsong stuns the air” …. that’s such a fragile scene you have painted with this thrid line. It makes the complete scene of your haiku very strong and powerful. And your photo … I am in awe ….

  12. great imagery! Such is life.. beautiful haiku,it speaks a lot!
