Plaza de Armas, Zacatecas, México

With the same longings
people and pigeons gather
where the fountain flows.
In the quiet hours
stars slip into the waters—
those who drink them shine.

  1. Great photo – I love the deep blue of the sky.

  2. gorgeous pic and beautiful words. x

  3. The pigeons almost outnumber the people basking in the spirituality near the cathedral. All beings in this plaza thus have a peaceful venue for thought and comfort…

  4. Stars slipping into the water! What a beautiful thought. I think they slip into my bottles of wine too! I often see them after a few glasses.

  21. The rich blue of the sky complements the blue within the fountain. A great balance of colour in this delightful scene.
