  1. Looks beyond repair but you never know what some clever person may come up with. Such a shame it’s been left in a conservation area too. x

Until you pointed it out, I hadn’t thought about this discarded bucket being in a conservation area. You’d think someone would clean up the trash, wouldn’t you? (I guess I could have carried it out, but I was too intent on taking pictures!)

  2. lots, and some recyclable treasures

    have a nice day

    much love…

  3. Too bad it was discarded…yet perhaps it can be reclaimed or reused or even viewed as an artistic treasure. We are to used to throwing away day to day items instead of finding other uses…a throwaway mentality is the unfortunate side effect of our consumer society…

  4. Nice! Yes, battered things do abound in this world-some of it good, some of it, not so good!

  5. Very rusty… but I enjoy the color –

  6. I think this one’s gone just a little beyond… 😦

  7. makes me wonder what it was used for! Cheers!

  8. What lovely colours!!! and a meaningful haiku…I could see this as a planter with flowers coming out of the top and the holes…maybe a pea flower or herbs

  9. Very creative shot and love the haiku ‘battered’ ~

    Happy Weekend to you,

  10. I love photos with dappled light! Gotta wonder how the bowl got there though…

  11. I always wonder what the story is.

You can make up your own story—that’s what I do!

  12. Very nice photo and a brilliant thought!
Discarding has become an addiction to the masses, facilitated by profiteers.
    Have a Beautiful Day!
    Peace 🙂

  13. how true (“Battered things abound in this world”). lovely shot.

  14. Enriching ! MMT , aesthetic !

  15. MMT, stunningly illustrated and captured in words. Words that allow an imagination to take flight.

  16. I liked the color of the bucket 🙂
