Adjei Agyei-Baah’s haiku about a scarecrow inspires me to write a new haiku about a different kind of scarecrow:


full moon─
a scarecrow watches
its own shadow

~~ ~~ ~~

desert scarecrow tree
flapping at clouds and shadows—
next time the full moon

  8. Yes, the shadow shall keep it company sans les crows;) Can`t wait to see the supermoon tomorrow…took a few shots even with my phone last night…hopefully tomorrow night I will staying by a lake.
