View of the Cathedral, Zacatecas, México
the jade-seller’s lamp
still burning long past midnight
blotting out the moon

Always somewhere a lamp is burning.

Better than cursing the dark, eh?
Always! There must be somewhere there’s no light pollution. x
Cool!! Now if the skies can clear up tonight so I can see the supermoon!
Clear skies here in the desert make for sizzling hot weather, but also for “cool” super-moon viewing! Maybe I’ll get some decent shots tonight.

I always love the mood of nighttime shots like this.
Lovely play of light in this laneway, highlighting slices of the building designs. And the tower seems to watch over them.

Lovew the composition of your shot and how the dark and light play against each other
Exquisite! And let’s not forget the Biblical references to lamps and being ready!
