rising as balloons
a thousand clouds at daybreak—
autumn festival

one more day’s journey
without a destination—

Poignant!
You leave me wanting to reflect on “journey” and see where it might lead! Hoping you pick up the flute again soon!
There is something mystical about this haiku. It stokes the imagination. Great write!
such beauty rising in this
your autumn festival lifts me to new heights- thank you!
I have never before thought of clouds in this way… I love this image! And sometimes… there is no destination, but just the journey… I long for the sound of that flute…
Please don’t lay down your flute.
PS: Remember “Lay Down Your Weary Tune”?
Autumn and the sound of flute fills me with peace.
You have taken me up and away floating somewhere without a care. Please play your flute it would completely set me free.
Beautiful imagery this phrase – cloud balloon.
My ears perked to life at the mention of the flute.
beautiful early morning colours 🙂
Can hear your flute with the gorgeous sky showing me the way ~
Happy Weekend to you,
artmusedog and carol
still the haunting memory
of our musical interlude
Much love…

The first haiku made my heart sing…rise above the day. So uplifting. Thank you.
Both of these are beautiful. As always you have a distinctive and vibrant haiku voice.
