  1. a unique path bearing the dust of pilgrims’ feet…

  2. No doubt it is of personal importance to leave an imprint but looking at the photo i couldn’t help but think why..can the sticky trail of an iced bun on a counter have as much meaning – sigh

  3. I just love “…fragile imprint of pilgrim’s breath…”

  4. Knowing there are far more step in this photo, I am reminded of the steps of the Duomo in Amalfi and at the church in Montecassino. I remember the shortness of breath, not to mention the weak knees. This is a wonderful photo! Thank you!

  5. Such an interesting place to visit.

  6. lovely haiky, have a nice weekend

    much love…

  7. Sacred is the journey.. Beautiful photograph. 🙂

  8. Wonderful image and thought, but journey through the Scriptures is just as breathtaking and ultimately more rewarding.

With Scripture in one’s heart, can’t every journey be a sacred one?
