  1. Wonderful that you should take this photo and think of marriage–It has so much light and shadow, growth and dryness–“can’t have one without the other”!

  2. So many photos of Southern California this week, everyone must be Wintering here! The Santa Rosa in just about 25 miles South of my home and I will be driving down there next week to attend a Flea Market in San Diego. After the rains we have had the Plateau should burst with wildflowers this Spring! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Lovely shadow and sky shot ~

    Wishing you a fun weekend ~ ^_^

  4. Beautiful trees. Love this close dance of shadow and light.:)

  5. So very beautiful in word and photo! Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

  6. gorgeous haiku. perfect romance-embracing the whole.

  7. This photo struck me as so familiar. Then I read it was somewhere in Riverside County. I used to live there. The landscape is very familiar, indeed.

  8. Without this blend of light and shadow, the picture would be bland and nothing. Great capture. Gives a peaceful feeling to the viewer. Thanks for the moment.

  9. How I love this bond, this promise of dark and light, this meeting between the two that is infinite…

  10. Happy marriage may it last more than one life time.

  11. love your unusual use of marriage in this lovely landscape

  12. Snakypoet (Rosemary Nissen-Wade)

Lovely! And that photo could almost be of an Australian landscape. 🙂

  13. a stunning moment; thanks for sharing it

    Have a beautiful Sunday

    much love…
