  1. The owner should have foreseen the risk he was taking with the tire as bald as that.

  2. You gave me a new word, fatidic. I had never seen that word before. Thanks.
    I guess it is all how you look at this tire. Does it apply to the tire itself, the thoughtless owner or our country. Not good any way you look at it.

  6. I love this new-to-me word “fatidic”. Expresses the flat-out feeling of being left behind some are feeling nowadays.

  7. That bit of damage really should have told the driver what was to come! As a fan of old English, seeing this word made my Sunday!
