  1. It would be nice if all religious art were this festive, eh?

  2. good morning dear friend. thank you for your honest comment at recuerda mi corazon. i feel you and trust you will find your way to peace. sometimes the weight and burden of our emotions is so all encompassing. it can take real effort to see into the heart of the hurt. always growth to be gained. the path of self and other love is a path that takes courage and honesty. your beauty shines-even when you cannot see it. holding you in mother love.

  3. Of her many appearances, this one, in its amazing variety, has become a favorite.

  4. I love the fact that it is in someone’s bathroom – religion of the soul and heart is not about icons outside of us, but about living ordinary life with all its challenges and difficulties, with honesty and loyalty to ourselves and our own hearts. Not easy in a world where we are brain washed into ideas of piety

  5. This is beautiful

  6. And just how did you get an invite to their bathroom? 🙂 🙂 Happy Saturday!

  7. what a grand icon to view while doing “our business:! I am in tune with Hettienne’s comment. I have lovely art work (one of then 5-year old granddaughter and one done by my daughter-in-law). Perhaps I’ll share it. I love seeing both natural and iconic wonders that you share with us. I learned to have a fondness for the southwest because of a beloved uncle of mine living in New Mexico and Texas.

  8. How appropriate for a beautiful art piece like this one to be in the home of an artist–and in the bathroom. An inner sanctum indeed. I’m smiling as I look and read.

  9. She has a quiet expression of her faith, humbly looking down as she prays to the one true God. Stunningly beautiful in its simplicity of faith and art…

  10. Bathroom or not the mosaic frame and icon are stunningly beautiful.

  11. Beautiful! I love the colours that are used.

  12. Perhaps the trick is learning to see our light.. a wonderful meditation..

  13. What a beautiful mosaic frame and artwork and so appropriate the fishes being in the bathroom too.
