First day of the year—
the lemons seem to ripen
at a faster pace.

  10. I have one measly lemon on my tree. The tree is now residing inside. Not enough light for the lemon to ripen. Poor little tree. It will be happy when it can go outside next spring. I think the squirrels took off all the other lemons since I didn’t find them in the garden someplace. Rotten squirrels. I so wanted to see a ripe lemon on my tree.
