A table decoration for a sweetheart dinner at an Arizona church

I gave my love a basket
(A funny valentine!),
And asked my love to fill it
With chocolate and with wine.
Alas, my love had nothing
Except the best of will,
And so my basket’s empty,
But yet I love him still.
