Insect

A stone painted to resemble an insect, Robert J. Moody Demonstration Garden, Yuma, Arizona

A desert stone was posing,
Posing as a bug;
A hungry raven spied it,
Thought it was a slug.

The raven swooped down on it,
Hoping for a snack,
But when it saw the bug was stone,
It gave up the attack.

  1. Ha…that would be funny to see. I can imagine a Raven looking at that rock bug.

  2. Love the fun approach!
