  1. That they will for sure…

  2. Maybe there would be ritual to assure it? Love.

Oh, I hope there is! And if there’s not, maybe you or I could invent one.

  3. Deciduous trees live through winter only if they shed their leaves so we should rejoice when they do so as it is a guarantee they’ll be back next year.

I like your observation, Old Egg: the recurring themes of nature.

  4. Certainly, they will 🙂

  5. Yes they will, for seasons change and life goes on.

    Have a blessed day MMT

    much love…

  6. What a lovely way of expressing such a simple wish.

  7. So lovely to watch the leaves turn colour. My favourite time of year.

  8. It is what they do…I never look at photos, I don’t want them to spoil my memories, which are burned into my brain. It seems the photos are like “something in between.” I remember CS Lewis’ book A Grief Observed, and there came a time, he was afraid he was forgetting what his wife looked like. A photo just wouldn’t do. As it is a moment, captured, but the real person, was 3D, and over time, he realized she was closer to him than ever. She was in his heart. A memory that couldn’t be erased.

  9. …and of course they will be crimson again, and offer yet another chance to marvel at the wonders of autumn!

  10. Great and vermilion is a beautiful colour

  11. Wonder filled reflection

  12. I understand your sentiment here. I often look at my photographs of previous seasons and wonder….

  13. I love what Annell said. Photos really are an “in-between,” aren’t they. Susan Sontag had a great essay called On Photography where she talks about what photos mean. You have the past in the photos and a hope for the future in the leaves changing. I love the continuum in your wishes.

  14. Every season has something beautiful to offer us !! i am sure, they will come back….again and again! Beautiful…

  15. and wondering if the leaves
    will turn vermilion again

Nature will repeat itself very much the same as last year
