Blue Monday: Cemetery Flowers

DSC_0010 (3)
Wellton Memorial Cemetery, Wellton, Arizona

The cemetery flowers
Are blue as blue can be,
Left by a son or daughter
In loving memory.
The brilliant desert sunshine,
Will fade the blue to grey,
And then the son or daughter
Will bring a new display.

  1. Dear Magical Mystical Teacher,
I thank you wholeheartedly for hosting!

Wishing you a most lovely new week,
I’m sending blessings on the remainder of your October

XOXO Daniela at ~ My little old world ~ (Dany)

  2. You take the simplest things and turn them into a work of art. Best photos ever.

  3. I have been out of the loop for a bit! Was hoping you were hosting Blue Monday but I don’t see a link. Those flowers reminds me of my sister who lives in our hometown and cares for the graves of our parents. Very lovely photo. I hope you have a wonderful week. HUGS

  4. Thank you! I past it right up! Happy Blue Monday!

  5. Beautiful blue memorial flowers. Many people in Italy decorated their relatives graves with artifical flowers as the hot sun their wilts fresh ones too quickly.

  6. But one must tightly anchor
    those flowers oh so blue
    lest the vicious desert winds
blow the memory away from you…

    Nice take on the memorials.
