Blue Monday: Wise Woman

Mural in Artists Alley, Ajo, Arizona

A wise woman watched from the wall
To see who would stumble and fall.
She offered them truth,
But no one, forsooth,
Accepted her offer at all.

  2. I need this kind of wind…
Thank you for hosting. Happy Monday.

  3. Forsooth, what an interesting word.

  4. Happy Monday, lovely art

    much love…

  5. Lovely art and words to match.

  6. Such as always happens to wise women, lol. This poem resonates…..made me smile. “Forsooth and verily, I feel long in the tooth.” Quoting Wild Woman!

  7. Oh, this is spot on for me right now.

  8. Ha..lot of wise women these days 🙂

  9. This is so incredibly profound! 🙂

  10. A wise woman indeed, sometimes we just don’t like the truth…
    Anna :o]

  11. I love the image, great stuff.

  12. I so relate……no one listens to Wild Woman either, lol.

But people are starting to listen to women (countless women) who have been victims of sexual predators, and I applaud their courage for speaking out. May the predators rot in hell!

  13. When did anyone listen to a wise woman! See where that’s gotten the world!

  14. Really loved this with that perfect image…that wise woman I see in me, and I am learning to heed her call.

  15. I wonder if anyone listen to wisdom at all…. but even less from women I think.

Is that why Humpty Dumpty fell?

  17. Forsooth! Remember this word from merchant of Venice from school so long ago

  18. Oh, if more would just heed the wisdom of a woman.

  19. Ha, so many don’t want truth any more. They’d rather embrace faux news.

  20. Arn’t we in a interesting mood. 🙂
