  1. That is a gorgeous photo…..beautiful weathering.

  2. An excellent photo

  3. We just chopped wood yesterday and one of the things I told my son is not to hit the knotholes.
    Way too hard.

Knot hole. “Not whole” is a fun play at this too. And at the Not wholeness, sometimes silence sets in.

    Nice short.

  4. What a superb image, I enjoyed the idea of finding silence in the knot.

  5. Lovely poem….knotholes are wonderful to burn in a fire place.

  6. An absolutely wonderful sense of silence..nothing greater than nature’s input..

  7. Great photo and what a great reminder of the beauty of so many things that we take for granted in life. Here we stare at part of a long dead tree and are impressed by the message it sends and see so much more that what others saw in the living trees many years ago.

  8. Fantastic image and a beautiful image of silence

  9. Interesting…although the meaning is puzzling. Still it’s interesting. 🙂

  10. Beautiful in its beautiful simplicity. Perfect!
