Do you know the word
to bring back autumn’s glory,
blackbird in the pine?

This is a glorious photo. We will be clamoring for autumn in about August. The blackbird won’t mind.

  2. No. Except to wait. But I know the yearning.

  3. The speaker would need two words; spring and summer to witness autumn’s glory again. Lovely reminiscence!

  4. That photo and your words make me want to get in the car and find me a forest to wait for autumn.

  5. If any words could, it would be these.

  6. Don’t be greedy, bide your time. Sorry six words there but the beauty of Autumn is like a present of a box of chocolates before the trial of Winter. While you are bragging how good Autumn was you suddlenly realise Winter is half over and Spring is on its way.

Oh, but biding my time is sometimes so hard to do! 😉

Amazing how a lovely scene and very few words can constitute a pleasant interlude of poetry! Thank you

Oh, gorgeous. Gives me those shivers which, we are told, true poetry does.
