    Isn’t it odd how a large black bird that is mocking you can hide in a seemingly wide open area.

  2. Every time I visit you, I’m in ooh and awe over the landscapes… it is so very different from the Netherlands. Beautiful haiku!

  3. Looks like a big grumpy cholla. I always give them a wide berth when I’m out hiking, and I still manage to get snagged from time to time!

  5. thank you so much for hosting haiku my heart while i was in san miguel. the trip was amazing on many deep levels. i managed to get up and post a haiku friday morning-and have been in bed so ill since then. this morning i am able to sit up and it will be my joy and delight to visit each haiku offering. thank you friend for your haiku love and for keeping the fires burning!
