This is a beautiful seasonal photo. It could be your new year card. The sun looks so warm, the coat looks fluffy, the pine scent is deep.

  2. Hmmmm…a new outlook with that glamorous new coat…Merry Christmas (bleated) and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!…:)JP

  3. Reblogged this on Frank J. Tassone and commented:
    #Haiku Happenings #3: MMT’s latest haiku!

  4. So lovely! Cold in New Mexico was one of the earliest new and different things I found out about in our RV traveling life (that I should have learned about in grade school geography, but day-dreamed through). Coming from the PNW, I was sure the whole Southwest was warm and sunny always. We loved everything about NM though…it was the first *really* new State for us when we started traveling.

  5. A beautiful new coat indeed. Have a Happy New Year!!

  6. Love the green against the snow

  7. Lovely wintry photo with the snow, trees against the blue, blue sky!

    Happy New Year to you,

  8. Beautiful blue sky, trees, and snow. Wonderful photo.

  9. That tree is going to a party! And will be the belle, or garçon, of the ball!!!! Happy New Year dear MMT!

  10. Next year’s card front. This is a real beauty.

  11. finally our first snow has arrived-eight inches in one day! i am ready to embrace the purity of this perfect new terrain of love! happy bright new year my haiku friend!
