Balance
I thought that I could balance a feather on a rock,
But though I tried it often, the feather ran amok,
And went wherever feathers go when feathers go astray—
But I have yet to give up hope that I’ll succeed one day.

I love it! Feathers and rocks! Maybe a bigger feather next time? Smiles.
I am sure if you keep at it, you will succeed. You make me think of Andy Goldsworthy, Rivers and Tides!
Feathers are wild things… that can be only be loved by those who keep at it.
Perseverance is worth it. Let us all strive for balance.
Try it the other way round and balance the rock on a feather…it’s much easier isn’t it?
I love both ‘feather’ and ‘rock’ literally & also the flight with hope. Inspiring.
Feathers and rocks, this has to be a propasal for contemplation
Much love…
Very quotable! And the image resonates.
Love it! It tickled my fancy.
