Nada, Nothing, Zero, Naught

Xenophobic man, begone!
Racist, do not linger on!
Usurer, give back the cash
Purloined from the poor man’s stash!
Lying? Stealing? Not OK!
Pussy grabbing? Oh, no way!
How much should we tolerate
Of your spewing lies and hate?
Nada, nothing, zero, naught!
May your reign end, may you rot!

  1. I simply LOVE this one, MMT! Great lines.

  2. Lisa at Greenbow

    Amen.

  3. I laughed! How can one not love this irreverent ditty?

    • magicalmysticalteacher

Irreverence is this only thing that works for me when it comes to writing about this person.

  4. I couldnt have said it any better, lol. Why is he still there? Why are his lips still moving? I just cant believe it. And those around him are just as bad. It is appalling.

    • magicalmysticalteacher

I think his sycophants appall me almost more than he himself does. Why would anyone drool over this man?

  5. I’m with you 100%. It baffles me how some cannot see his lies.

    • magicalmysticalteacher

I think there are people in this world who make a conscious choice to “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.”

  6. Absolutely love this one. And when will his reign end before it is too late for us to recover from him.??

    • magicalmysticalteacher

I hope and pray it’s not too late…

  7. And yet, he is a human being just like the rest of us.

    • magicalmysticalteacher

I’ll grant that he’s human. But like the rest of us? I think that’s a bit of a stretch. Where’s the compassion? Where’s the empathy?

    • Too many of us have no empathy, compassion, or caring. We aren’t all angels and I have found out, too many of us are devils. Not all rich people don’t care and not all poor people are saints.

Sadly, his replacement isn’t any better. I say this, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, who Pence has targetted, in the past. Never mind, his wife works at a bigoted elementary school.

  9. lol great one Straight to the point

    • magicalmysticalteacher

Most of the time the straight way is the best way to go! 🙂

  10. I just can’t think who you are talking about! Sadly it is the sub-human emerging from the ranks because of the low standards we find ourselves accepting. We do not respect the world that sustains us, we are cruel to our fellow inhabitants on Earth and like spoilt children leave our trash everywhere. So we choose the most inept to govern us.

    • magicalmysticalteacher

This inept person wasn’t my choice, that’s for sure!

  11. Excellent discussion, which proves that words do have power, and impact. Yay!

  12. I really like the rhythm of this poem. It reminds me of the rhythm of Blake’s ‘Tyger’ and feels like it is drumming the message home. It’s clear who this xenophobic man is without spelling it out. I’m shocked that he is still around.
