What Fun to Run

What fun to run from the cop,
Who keeps calling out to me, “Stop!”
My feet are so fleet
As I run down the street,
I soon see the officer drop.

Some how I can’t imagine it is so much fun to be running from a cop.

      Well…it makes a good limerick, doesn’t it? 🙂

  2. I just started laughing! It’s a startling perspective. But I hope it never happens to me or anyone I know because I don’t think cops are like the cartoon ones anymore. So Edward Gory of you, and that’s a compliment!

  3. LOL! one for the cartoons not for real life

    much love…

  4. You always brew cackles out of me. I’m picturing the officer huffing and puffing and dropping like a rock. Of course, the one being chased is innocent…. or, perhaps, just guilty of picking a mango from her neighbor’s tree. Not that I know anyone who would ever do that *cough*.

  5. I never suspected your criminality. Glad you got away though. I chuckle.

  6. Could be dangerous, lol. But yes, a clever limerick.

  7. Like your sense of humour. Brilliant limerick!

  8. What a clever fun limerick 🙂

  9. The cop got the drop
    but not on me.
    I rounded the corner
    and there stood three

  10. Reliving your childhood I see.

  11. if magical can outrun
    the fine desert cops
    who have such big feet
    it must be the heat
or they eat too many sweets
