Flora and Fauna

There are pigeons, pugs and camels, there are lions in the park.
There are hundreds of strange animals, and one of them’s the snark.
There are insect-eating flowers, and fruit trees with weird fruit,
There are creatures of the ocean near the Italian boot.
If you take a look around you, wherever you may be,
I think you’ll be astounded by the great diversity!

  6. The rhyme adds a lightness to this. Oh my yes! All the diversity on our earth.

  7. This could be the opening salvo of a mighty fine children’s book on biodiversity.

  8. Beautiful…This brings a smile on my face.

  9. Lisa at Greenbow

    Wonderful!

  10. Our world thrives by its diversity.
