Blue Monday: Christmas in July

A holiday decoration in a Yuma County, Arizona church, hearkens back to cooler times.

Christmas in July, you say?
Ninety-nine degrees* today!
Surely in this heat St. Nick
Needs an ice cream cone to lick!

*37.22 Celsius

  1. Now days anything goes, so having Christmas In July is just fine.

  2. Love the haiku. It made me feel cooler just thinking about an ice cream cone. I always worry about Santa wearing that heavy red suit during summer. That is probably why I don’t see him during summer. Too hot to be out and about.
