Blue Monday: Flat Tire

This brightly painted vehicle at Cattle Track Arts Compound, Scottsdale, Arizona isn’t going anywhere soon.

You can’t go from here to there with a tire that’s flat,
So stay home and read a book, wearing your straw hat!
If your hat’s worn out and crushed, throw the thing away!
Find a new one, put it on—read some more, I say!
Reading is the antidote to a tire that’s flat—
Reading books and milking goats, wearing your straw hat!

  1. Funny you should post this. We were out birding in our blue truck yesterday and had a flat tire. I wish we would have taken a picture I would have shared it. I should have stayed home and read. Or driven our car that’s red.My hat is not straw. We ended up having a ball. Have a good week.

Don’t you think wearing a straw hat would make your reading even more enjoyable? 🙂
