Books litter his bedroom, you see.
That book on the chair
He handles with care,
And looks at the pictures with glee!

  5. I still love a picture book, and often come to Facebook just for the pictures! But that’s a choice, and I’ve had some students who learned more skills simply by being asked to make captions for photographs. And then, there’s some in government who I wonder about!

  8. My great grandfather learned to read from a picture book. He went on to obtain his MS and engineering degree. Hooray for pictures!

  9. And would love for you or me to read one to him. His choice. We likely will be there too. (Me especially, all the men one my line have become handicapped by mascular degeneration beginning my age or a little older.
