touch the ripening grapefruit,
for it is holy.

  9. So much said in a haiku – and the word ‘ripening’ at its centre!

  10. Fruit was always so much better when we grew it ourselves as we we always able to take some responsibility for putting in on the table and not just buying a pound of thisi or that that some farm hadf produces many miles away!
