A labyrinth in Phoenix, Arizona attracts many truth seekers.

I choose a new path
before the wind can erase
yesterday’s footprints.

  1. your photograph is pure poetry for my heart. if only we would all commit to a new path. a place we leave behind our injustices and embrace equality. a place where love is first in thoughts, words and actions. i’ll meet you there!

  2. each day a new path
    new beginnings new choices
    always open to us

  3. I: feel sadness reading this haiku, though it promises a new beginning. 🙂

  4. I love your haiku! It’s so visual. It makes me want to walk with you! Have a wonderful weekend!

  5. And that first step is taken…

  6. yes dont wait for the wind in case we need to remember which direction our footprints were going before.

  7. It is indeed both a sad as an uplifting haiku, I love that ‘doubleness’ (I guess that’s not a good English word, I hope you know what I mean) Big hug from the Netherlands!

  8. It all begins with ‘one step’ ~ lovely ^_^
