I find there’s something really pretty about crumbling clay figures and terra-cotta items. I like the way the turquoise is falling off her shoulders like a shawl.

Reminds me of the beautiful fountain goddess I painted for my brother. Over the years she has fallen and is missing a hand and a few finger off her other hand, and her nose is chipped. 😦
But she’s still a goddess! 🙂
