Old wooden door, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, México

Whenever I travel to Mexico, I look for interesting doors, so Richard Wright’s haiku speaks to me:

Quickly vanishing,
The first drops of summer rain
On an old wood door.

~~ ~~ ~~

on an old wood door
the sorrows of rainless days
brushed in shades of blue
