  2. A case of only the strong survive.
A perfect little bud to soften the stone surroundings!

  3. i’d call this photo “Persistence”.:p

  4. Amazing….nature at its finest.

Mine’s posted. “I came, HE SAWED, we conquered.”

  5. Better hold on tight!
Does the wall hold the flower?
    Or the bud the wall…

Thanks for stopping by – great photo!

  6. And we think we have hard times….just look what that flower did! B : )

  7. The flower is a living proof of the power of life and beauty.
Luckily the flower doesn’t know how deep soil or amount of fertilizer it needs.
It is a witness of a force stronger than science blooming in late autumn.

  8. Amazing picture ! A flower in stones !

  9. nature is so hopeful
    lovely sweet photo

  10. The strength of nature cannot be overstated. Some would say it is a weed, and maybe so. But the root structure is so strong it pushes through the stout wall. A flower now exists where nobody expected. Nice capture!

  11. Let’s hear it for tenacity along with beauty!
    Hugs and blessings,

  12. wow, this is a neat photo. You could tell a great story with this picture!

  13. what a pretty little surprise.

  14. Panama soil
rocky and steep poor and dull
    mock roses delight

  16. Nature is amazing, even between stones it will survive!

  17. Tenacious flower
Weave your grip through solid stone
    Find earth to call home

Meh. It sounded better in my head.

  18. Survival of the fittest – great photo. Thanks so much for the poem about our spooky train station in the rain on Halloween!

  20. dear magical…what a beautiful and dainty, yet stong little flower..making its home on the rock!
such a nice picture !…..love terry

The wise man built his house upon the rock,
The wise man built his house upon the rock,
The wise man built his house upon the rock,
And the rains came tumbling down!

The rains came down and the floods came up,
The rains came down and the floods came up,
The rains came down and the floods came up,
And the house on the rock stood firm.

in THIS case a wise flower!
