Good Morning Sunshine!! Good one!! 🙂
Very nice composition! And very nice haiku too!
Thanks for sharing;o)
¤ Have a nice and happy weekend ¤
Your poetry has been mentioning tomorrow a lot………. hummmmm………….
Love all the geometry of the above photo!
Why, “tomorrow” doesn’t appear in this one at all! What do you mean? 🙂
Love the magic of the morning light ~
Have you thought of making a haiku set in one posting? It would make it easier to comment all at once instead of going to another page. Just a suggestion as you normally have more than one.
Grace,
I appreciate your suggestion. However, I’m not sure it will work for me, since I usually–well, always!–couple one specific photo with one specific haiku or another type of poem. I visit blogs that have many photographs in one post (you know, like 10 or 12 of them in a row?), and I have to scroll down seemingly forever to comment, which I find quite annoying. I do my best not to annoy the majority of my readers. I know, I know: I still annoy SOME of them! But I try to keep the annoyances to a minimum! 🙂
Thanks for visiting!
MMT
it’s a toss up for me which shadows i prefer…morning or evening. i know that right at this moment your morning shot is splendid. have a great weekend mmt.
Good day sunshine…the artwork of shadows…nice work!
Love the blue skies, colorful flowers, the wonderful blue skies and a perfect shadow shot for the day! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Sylvia
Lovely morning shadows…
I love the colour of the wall, with the little accents from the flowers ….. and the shadow is good too!!
I love morning, and your post captures why!
The rich terra-cotta color of the wall is the perfect canvas for the shadow. The clear blue sky is the perfect finish.
excellent shadows & the colors are beautiful!
I recognise the location – Zacatecas is a gorgeous city – Greetings from the Riviera – lovely shot for the week…
I love the way Light creates shadow paintings on a waiting wall. Lovely haiku and image.
~Noelle
What a way to welcome the morning with this beautiful morning light on these orange walls.
You found the perfect shadow.
Perfect shadow of that great lamp.
We all love the brilliance of a sparkling new day. However, there may be too much of a good thing as the sun invades our space a bit too strongly. Thus the curtain is a fine compromise between searing and merely brilliant…
shadows do create such magic… well done Haiku!
Beautiful!
That’s a great shot MMT. Semms like you have an endless supply of the streets of Zacatecas. This one is a colorful building.
Peace
Wonderful shadows. The lamp post shadow is a perfect duplicate of its subject. Great shot!
Beautiful details and colors in your photo.
Regards!
Great shot. I am really appreciating morning shadows more lately.
Hi MMT,
This is a delightful and special photo … I love it, and thank you for sharing and visiting me.
Beautiful post!
Happy Sunday! See you in October again…
The shadow is the focal point, but I love the flowers in the corner. 🙂
Lovely shadow photo of the lamp
Love the composition of this shot! Have a great week.

Have a nice week!
Oh yes, I DO like this one very much! Hoping you have a great week ahead.
Beautiful photo and Haiku. I love morning light.
Great shadow of the lamppost, MMT.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Great shot! Love the shadow of the lamp.

Awesome lamp post shadow! Thank you for visiting me on my first SSS!
~Linnea
Love the warm color on your image!!
The flowers around the lamppost are intriguing… and its shadow on the warm orange wall is terrific. Your haiku is spot on.
Nice rich shadow and I like the contrast of the blue sky and red brick.
Splendid shot! The shadow worked naturally! How awesome!
