Seems like hallucination and yearning for cool shade and soft breezes in the desert heat!!
i like the way you use “bold shadows and reflections”. is it a reflection of the ailments that is gripping america today?

did they build a newer and modern hotel across the road?
Unfortunately, no. This one was abandoned, with nothing to take its place.
