  1. I like your haiku, MMT. 🙂 The last flower, I like the last rose, always has the role of a sustainer for the world around. Humans, birds, animals, all respect this hardy bloom until the end.

  2. I have a lot of plants that look similar to this from last year. Perhaps soon we will be able to see bright blooms again.

  3. yes – sometimes there is great beauty in the flowers well past prime – not everyone sees this though 🙂 I hear both: look at the beauty in your dry bloom – and your flowers are dead!
