One True Path

Ants

Ants on eucalyptus tree, Southern California

They take one true path,
ants scurrying at daybreak,
seeking sustenance.

  1. Terrific shadow shot for the day! Those little guys throw a pretty big shadow, don’t they! Enjoy your weekend!

The shadows are actually bigger than the ants! Thanks for your visit, Sylvia. It’s always good to “see” you!

  2. Oh, me! Oh, my! What an incredible shot! Isn’t it interesting that you got the perfect number in the shot? Three?
    Fabuloso!

  3. Breathtaking camera work. Great Haiku.

  4. wonderful photo…..the one true path, with no distractions – well-done

  5. This is wonderful!!

  6. The ants do not care which path to take – they doggedly take the one that’ in their way. Vertical if necessary, and this ant army, including shadows, appears to have doubled…great capture!

Are you SURE they don’t care which path they take? If I were an ant. I’d probably take the path of least resistance. But, then, I’m not an ant!
