    RS

  2. Their hard work destroyed by the swarms!! We have been on the same track!!

  3. high five and raspberries

    rotten little so and so’s

  4. Do you have a this problem your way? Up my way it’s the Deer – literally thousands of them since the farmer killed all the wolves. Its a real mess.

  5. Here, we ‘farmers’ yell at Japanese beetles, mosquitoes and aphids!! I think the grasshoppers were killed off years ago!

  6. We sometimes have a plague especially if there has been a long draught in the country areas. An issue with many other insects that will be a continuing battle. In saying that nice Haiku 🙂

  7. Sad…fate untimely met! 😦
    Neat one!

  8. Oh MMT, this is so good. You’ve captured the helplessness and reality so well. 🙂

  9. Great post MMT. I think we all have a love/hate relationship with grasshoppers

  10. Yes, unfortunately, they come in plagues instead of a few who might be appreciated.

  11. Plagues of grasshoppers. We thought along the same lines. I like yours.

  12. I like the way you got the acrostic letters DHA into this piece, perhaps dihydroxyacetone is what the farmers use.
