  1. Gorgeous pic, fantastic haiku too. x

  2. Very cool. I recently visited the (famous) lighthouse in Hatteras, NC. Still working on some writing about it / its surroundings. Nice 6.

  3. Beautiful picture!

  4. I do love to happen across lighthouses. They all have a story to tell.

  5. The lighthouse gives ships the way to safe harbors on a stormy sight. The ship’s mates only see the light by night, but we can see the modest light’s shape nicely by day. Beautiful!

  6. Wow, what a beautiful shot! I love light houses.
    Tasty Shadow

  7. I have always been intrigued by the idea of living in a lighthouse! Nicely done!

  8. It looks familiar but I’ve never been to Hawaii 🙂 Happy Saturday!

  9. A different area of the US for you today! Good photo and words, as usual.

  10. Lovely picture and Haiku.

  11. Awesome photo…your words paint the mystery of lighthouses.

  12. Alright, thi sisland girl wants to know when you were in my ‘hood’!! Cool shot.

It was about four years ago. Now the airfares are just too pricey!

    much love…

  17. There’s something quite exciting about a lighthouse.

  18. Hawaii is on my list to visit someday! I want to see the volcano! 😉 Stuff like that intrigues me. Odd, I guess. No interest in surfing! LOL Beautiful! Interesting to see the different and similarities in their lighthouses and those here in Maine…

  19. Sailors and Lighthouse – an association so normal, and yet you have presented in a beautiful, poetic way. As usual, love and admire your words, MMT…
