A small wooden bridge—
I cross into a garden
where deep secrets grow.

  9. We need safe demonstration places all over our country. I will admit though that the 50’s riot I was in nobody got hurt. These days a lot of us would have been shot.

  13. so beautiful my friend! i don’t know where i would be without our garden. each seed offered to the warming earth is a prayer of belief that this too shall pass and someday we will be setting out chairs in the house of belong! until then stay safe my friend. thank you for your glorious haiku and the bounty of ten glorious years sharing haiku my heart!!!
