Got No Lucky Shoes
Got no lucky shoes, and I got no magic ring;
Got some silly stories, though, and songs I like to sing.
Got no magic wishbone, got no lucky sox,
But I can think my way, my friend, right out of a box.
Some say I’m peculiar, others say I’m weird,
But folks like me are treasures—not something to be feared.

Much💜love
Delightful insouciance! The ability to think well is a great gift indeed, and unfortunately rare. I only know you onscreen, but I certainly treasure your verses! And the photos you share, too.
Peculiar and weird is just another way of saying uniquely (and differently) prepared, methinks.
How wonderful … it should be set to music!!!!
Nice rhyme, it rings. Yes, you have become a treasure to me,
we have been posting together for a long, long, time.
..
Yep you”re a treasure )
You don’t need no lucky talisman, Teach; you be talented. I don’t know if you’re ‘peculiar’ or ‘weird’ (or both) (or neither) but you are indeed a treasure I treasure. Thanks.
