In a Fog

Moving in a fog,
north-of-border innocents,
gawking as they go…

  1. A while back, we ended up in Puerto Vallarta for vacation, but I wasn’t impressed much. Just another spot in the country of the same ol’ same ol’.

    Beach Party…you’re invited

  2. and not even generous tourists at that – “lets just take a photo if these nice paintings instead of buying one”. sheesh.

  3. When I travel outside my boundaries, of my town, or of my head, I often feel as if I’m in a daze or fog. Beautifully conveyed. I do tend to gawk and point, though Mom always told me it is rude to point. I prefer the term “gesture” which to me, means communicating with body language. Beautiful photo and image!

  4. very lovely post, I love art!

  5. The places along the border and the other overseas beaches or nice. I have lost all interest in them. Too m any things go wrong.

  6. Great shot!

Watery Wednesday at my page, come and see please?

  7. Great shot of the tourist being touristy. The water color is gorgeous.

  8. Nice thoughts, MMT. 🙂 Although I’m favoring Innocents Abroad anymore rather than south-of-the-border.

  14. Yep, typical of a tourist walking around in a bemused state! (although I feel like I’m in a fugue half the time anyway, so who am I to judge!! haha)
