oh wow!! what a sight in a shopping mall! here you will ever only see a Madonna statue at a convent school or at one of the few and far between Catholic churches – South Africa is still very much a Calvinistic country. My collection keep the balance though! I love today and yesterday’s haiku that create such a wonderful backdrop to your photographs

in a mall? bravo, Mexico! The sight of Mary in our local mall would probably incite wrath on behalf of our Munsonians! That is, unless it were a part of an art display. And, as usual, I admire your haiku.
I love how she is sheltered, and how visually, the angles of the staircase point the way to her. Lovely image. . . and haiku sentiment.
